Tuesday Youth has started back for the new term with a new look.  The group is now for 15yr olds (or those in year 10) most Tuesdays except on the first Tuesday of each month when we have a social for everyone from 11 yrs old upwards.  These socials start at 7pm and will always start at the Warehouse.  Normal evenings for 15s + start at 7.30 at the Warehouse. 

It’s been an interesting start to the term: the first week no-one turned up until the very last minute!  Our second week set the tone for our new, much more chilled, atmosphere whilst one of our leaders was swanning around on holiday.  Week 3 saw MEXICAN NIGHT with possibly the mildest hot-chilli around.  Some people had a go at limbo, many realised they’re not as young as they used to be (which is worrying at 12).  Many had a go at the chilli eating contest: Naomi showing that she was far too brave and Sam showing his emotional side by crying.  Then came the Pinata beating …. I mean game.  Unfortunately the cardboard donkey proved to be a pretty tough cookie so the bat got replaced by pure smashing.  Whilst the other donkey got kidnapped!

This week we had a normal evening again, with some good discussions, some loud music and card games; and Callum was good enough to bring his Physics homework.  We’re not sure if we got any of it right so he’ll have to tell us next week. 

Chris is organising a quiz for us next week and I’m looking forward to it already…
