Hi everyone! Sorry this has been a little while coming, here are some of the comments that were written down at the end of week one of camp I’ve tried my best to read everyone’s writing but if I’ve done some of it wrong let me know…
God has blessed us all this week because there are no boundaries between people and we are a family with God our father.
Being here at youth camp has helped me understand that God does really hear my prayers and has encouraged me to read my bible more.
Youth camp’s been awesome this year and it’s really helped me to think about things that hadn’t occurred to me before. I’ve also got to know lots more people better and make new friends! 
My first week at youth camp was amazing I felt very welcomed and made lots of new friends. VERY GOOD WEEK!!
Youth camp this year has been amazing. The quiet time groups worked real well and everyone was able to get actively involved in discussions. Phil’s talks and the whole chaplaincy team did a great job and we were all able to relate to the talks and activities and get so much out of them. Thank you for such a great week.
I’ve had so much fun this week and have learnt so much more about God and about myself. The services were led really well and the activities have always been fun no matter how tired we were. Thank you for a great time
It’s been really obvious the work of God in everyone this week. We’ve all felt his presence and just looking around the campsite, how amazing it is to have a God like ours.
Youth camp is a amazing place where God works in everyone. Its a great place to go if you’re confused about your faith or want to get closer to God. You make lots of friendly friends and its a brilliant experience.
I never considered that a week of camping, using disgusting portaloos, wearing the cheapest clothes and no Facebook would leave me with such a feeling of the presence of God. Phil’s speech especially opened the eyes … [sorry couldn't read the next bit, if this is yours please let us know what it said, sorry again!]. Camp has made me realise the truth about many things and has helped me to return to God. Thank you so much for the experience and all the leaders and the great food. Especially the cakes.
Camp this year has been absolutely amazing. I’m the type of person that can’t concentrate for a long period of time, and I found that this year I have been able to understand every single talk that we had and they all ministered to me. The one phrase that I’ll remember forever has got to be “you are not alone”.
This year’s camp has been absolutely AMAZING!! I’ve learnt so much about myself, and I feel my relationship with God has really grown and strengthened! Now I feel I will never be alone, and should never be scared of loneliness, because as long as I have Jesus, I will never be on my own So thank you to the awesome leaders and encouraging campers who have made this year’s camp the best year yet for me! Love you everyone!! xox
This year’s camp has been a fantastic week for me – I have been really challenged in all the right ways. During one of the sessions I had a vision from God – I was sat on a bench on a beach, and God walked up to me. He took something I’ve been holding onto out of my hands and threw it away in the sand so I could no longer see it. He then pointed towards the horizon, and I saw a beautiful sunset – God told me “See, this is what I have planned for you. It is worth sacrificing things for.” Camp was brilliant!!
What an amazing week. God has been in this field with smelly muddy people and our hearts have built up in his glory. The talks have been fantastic, Phil was honest and spoke completely from God. I have found it great that the focus has always been on God, not activities or food or nay other distraction. The youth have really been a great team, all getting along. It is so encouraging to see them pray for each other and testomising the great work God is doing in them. It has been a great year and I thank everyone who has been involved. God is Great!!!
