Midweek prayer points

  • Praise God for the great weather so far.
  • Thanks for great food.
  • Thanks for great worship times and teaching every evening.
  • Thanks for quiet time notes that really get discussions going in the the small groups.

Things to pray for for the rest of the week

  • That friendships being formed will grow and flourish.
  • That God will continue to work in peoples lives.
  • For continued safety.
  • That over tiredness will not ruin camp for anyone.
  • That the weather will remain like it is.

We really appreciate you prayer and support for camp and consider everyone back in Reading as much of the team as those here in the New Forrest

Hi everyone. Wish we were there! We would love to come and see you but sadly circumstances won’t allow :-( Sounds like you are having a great time, we pray that you all (leaders included) meet with the all-powerful God this week.

Hope you aren’t disturbing any uniformed group’s afternoon naps this year… :-)

And don’t forget to be nice to your leaders – it will make them wonder what you are up to!

    See you soon

Why didn’t the mother potato want her daughter to marry the famous TV newscaster?

    Because he was a ‘commontater’!

The animals are missing you. We’re not :-)

Hope all is well on camp and that the tents I put up haven’t fallen down yet

Elders were praying for y’all at our usual 7am Thursday prayer meeting (dang – just lost my reward – Matt 6:6)

I rang up BT and said “I want to report a nuisance phone call”
    He said “not you again…”

    I used to live in a teapot. I know what you’re thinking… “poor you”…

I was christened with a flamethrower – I’m telling you, that was a baptism of fire. The vicar was wearing a gorilla suit, so it was a blessing in disguise.

When I was born, my mum said “I’ve been expecting you”
